back for some updates... its gonna be long i guess.. XD

Been really really tired these days.. This week shifts were morning, afternoon, afternoon, morning, morning. Hate afternoon shift to morning.. that means i would reach home at about 10pm and have to leave the house around 5.45am the next day.. super tiring, still suffering from fatigue cause of that. XD

Nonetheless, i am still very very blessed to be working in a&e. remember i was saying that i wana go to OT, and guess what, now, i feel like going to a&e more.. guess that would help me better in my emergency skills if i were to go for mission trips yea? wells, maybe i should update about some of the things i've done, experienced and enjoyed throughout this whole week..

had a very interesting orientation around a&e, and it was literally like a maze when we all walked in. maybe that's why i dont really like a&e back then.. though i still enjoyed myself on the first day of work because of my very interesting staff nurses from ortho room! :D

Anyhow, the next day(tuesday) was a very interesting day for me as well..was at CC area and resus area) it was the "sad place" that i mentioned. but after that, it wasnt that bad afterall.. seen a few things, did some procedures that i haven done for more than half a year... and saw some really interesting cases.. and the best was in the second part of my shift, i saw the staff nurse i used to work with!!! AND HE STILL REMEMBERS ME!!!! i was seriously seriously happy about it. really! hees.. really enjoyed myself over there thanks to all the staffs there.. and a few doctors that i've helped, they are super nice. unless those that i have came across in the wards.. those "yaya papaya" doctors.. hahahas! 0ops! =X

Wednesday was at triage..was kinda lost at first as there wasnt much to be done by the students (me included), but then again, the staffs were really nice. they started to give us things to do instead of getting freezed by amazing temperature in a&e. but after awhile, we were dragged to one of the area as there was something that happened.. someone using autopulse, so we went to see.. if you wana know what that is, it is a machine that replace us to do CPR on patients..not going to elaborate on that one.

Anyways, remember that there was a suspected gas explosion at Macpherson rd and 6 patients were sent to SGH a&e? yes, i was having my shift that day, and managed to help out in the management at a&e. was quite messy as burns aint anything that is joking.. it can probably kill.. anyways, sent them to BICU, and went back to triage area.

And guess what? it was a reunion night for 2 people.. one of the doctor is actually a patient's wife' childhood friend! how cool is that yo! that was like heartwarming can! The other incident was mine.. the last 2 min of my shift, i saw someone who was really familiar, and even the name of the person is the one i remember.. but i didnt call out to the person as i could not confirm if he's really that friend of mine.. only yesterday, it was confirmed that he's actually that friend that i know few years back!!!!! OMG! he recognised me and i recognised him! but we didnt call out to each other, scared wrong person. but it was just so funny!!! XD Interesting wednesday, i am so happy that it was a reunion day.. somemore it was a mid-week.

Yesterday was another fun day.. was at mini-OT room and after that consultation room... anyways, i managed to help out at CC area.. love that place.. saw a few interesting cases and sent patients to wards.. helped out a doctor at the mini-OT area. was really enjoying myself la... cause i just love those people that i worked with.. they really taught me alot.. despite the tiredness in me, i still managed to keep my spirit up and even entertain people.. -.- super fun..

today was allocated at observation ward.. but guess what.. i find that place so boring, i went back to the consultation area. went to the consult room that this doctor is.. he speaks canto! and i got interested in him.. somemore he looks abit like my dance instructor in my secondary school days.. hahahas!! siao one me.. anyways, i ended up being there for the entire day.. so shiok! hahahas!! helped him with some translation and paper work thingy, and managed to take to him at the end of my moments in a&e~ so happy~ hahahahahs!!

Anyways.. i love today cause i've just read a friend's blog. someone that, hopefully, still remain close to my heart.. cause i am not sure if he is still someone close to me... neither am i sure if he's referring to me, but then i am really happy and touched that someone still keep this friendship so dearly and cherishing it like it is something really precious. if he is really referring to me, (and if you are reading this), i just wana tell you that.. i will always be behind you too.. will be there whenever you need someone like how you used to do so..
